I don’t like Wednesdays. I always seem to get depressed on Wednesdays. I don’t like people in general, for some reason, on a lot of Wednesdays. And I usually want to quit blogging on Wednesdays. I don’t know why. Maybe I get tired from the busyness of the first part of the week. I really don’t know. [...]

I did up Marc’s tax return last night, but since I’m still waiting on one document for mine, I could only do up a preliminary return for me… isn’t that unfortunate?

I think it should be a law that only women of child-bearing age should be allowed to work at maternity stores. But if people’s notions of discrimination and equal opportunity do not allow for that, then at least make sure that there aren’t creepy post-menopausal women on the job.
Now, I know my way around a [...]

Last week Madeline was the one I had to put a cold cloth on to keep her temperature down. Last night, I took Luke out of his bed at 9pm, gave him a popsicle, and held him on my bed while wiping him down with a cold cloth. And all night he kept crying every [...]

My belly grew over the weekend, I’m sure. It’s now taking up almost all of the space from my hips to my boobs. So, even though it’s not super big *yet,* I’m looking significantly more pregnant than last week.
This weekend at the retreat a lady from another church asked me how many weeks I [...]

I got back tonight from the church’s ladies retreat. It was good. Really mellow. It was nice to just visit and get to know a bunch of the ladies. And, of course, 3 hours to lay in my bed in the afternoon, reading, doing Sudoku, listening to James Taylor and Joni Mitchell, and napping for a [...]

Busy. Stressed. Tired. Sore. That’s my life this week. There’s been a lot going on around here this week, every day, in every area. And tomorrow I leave for the weekend to the church’s ladies retreat. I hope some things are figured out by then. And Madeline is sick today. You could tell it was starting [...]

About once a year, when I write the big whack of Christmas cards (that end up getting sent out after the New Year, even though they’re written two weeks before Christmas), I wish I had those nice little return address labels with our name and address and pretty picture. But I’ve never had them. So, last week [...]

(My apologies for the three posts today, but I’m exhausted and feel like I’m on the verge of a cold — definitely not the best week for that — so I’m trying to rest it away in advance…)
Do you ever forget about all of the opportunities that you have in life? Most of the time [...]

You know all of these pregnancy posts where I keep saying “I still don’t feel pregnant!”. Well, that’s not the case anymore. As of Sunday there is something going on in my back/hips/groin that is making it extremely difficult to get around. I’m waddling even more than I was before. It takes great effort and [...]
