What would you do if these three little red bodies came to your door on Halloween?
Aren’t they just the cutest?!
Here’s the front view of them trick-or-treating:
Madeline the clown, Luke the “Po” Teletubby & Little Red Riding Olivia.
The trick-or-treating itself went pretty well. Luke “got it” this year and loved to knock on the door [...]

Taking the kids to granny and grandpa’s house to trick-or-treat.
These were taken last Halloween. Granny had something wrong with her eye for a month or two last fall. She had to cover one lens of her glasses. So for Halloween she put a pumpkin sticker on it.
Granny was the best.
Funny the memories that remain.

I need to do something with the children. I mean about the children.
They are driving me bonkers. They are driving me crazy.
I’m not even going to get into it.
Maybe just one thing: Luke. Backyard. Bathing suit. Bare feet. This morning. Olivia with him. Sock feet. Secret mission.
Mother on the verge…
…
…
I can do this.
I can do [...]

I’ve been saving up my energy all day to go to a supper for a charity with Marc tonight. I figure as long as I can lean my head on my hands and have my elbows resting on the table, I’ll be able to make it through most of it. (I’m such a lady.) (I [...]

It’s pretty hard to keep your room clean when 5 minutes after you leave your bedroom, your son dumps half of the contents of the basket full of folded laundry and kids toys (that shouldn’t have been in my room in the first place!) onto the floor.
It’s pretty hard to plan a worship service when [...]

Today was Luke’s day for show and tell at preschool, which meant he was leader for the day. It was also his day to bring the snack for the 20 kids in his class. And it was picture day. That was a lot of things for me to remember. I was so tempted to send [...]

For the past two weeks I’ve had these reoccurring dreams that it’s Halloween and I’ve completely forgotten about it. Trick or treaters showing up at the door and I have no candy. The kids wanting to go out and there are no costumes. Strange. Especially since I don’t care that much about Halloween.
My only concern [...]

18 months ago today, we welcomed this little face into our lives:
I can’t believe it’s been that long — that our little baby is half way through her second year of life.
When Luke turned 18 months I did a long post about what he was doing and saying at that point in his life. Unfortunately, [...]

It is 9:05am. Madeline is off to school. She doesn’t seem to be sick, other than she still doesn’t seem to be hearing very well (which has nothing to do with her refusal to listen when we have to put in the eye drops). On the couch are Olivia and Luke watching Jay Jay. Olivia [...]

A little reading in Olivia’s rocking chair:
Making “pickle faces” — Madeline’s is fake. She loves pickles:
Someone learned how to climb onto the kitchen stool. My life is officially over; I’m going to have to watch her all the time again:
Found her like this after Madeline and Luke left for school:
A little pre-lunchtime snack:
The drummer:
They [...]
