Back at it.
Monday, March 8th, 2010Life has returned to “normal” around here. Marc is at the library. I am at home. Luke is sick. Just like it always is. Luke’s seriously been coughing every 10 seconds since he got up this morning. I made him lay down for a nap (because rest is supposed to help your body, right?). It took him almost two hours to fall asleep. He threw up at one point from all the coughing. And now that he’s awake he sounds like a seal when he breathes in. Awesome. I seriously almost can’t take that boy being sick every other week, and I am almost considering buying the house that’s for sale in Otterburne right now so we can get out of this sickness-inflicting trailer.
I take Luke to the doctor (we finally got in!) tomorrow morning. The appointment was mostly for the eczema that has been covering him from head to toe all winter and which has basically cleared up completely now that we can get into the doctor. But maybe we can figure out this coughing thing. Not a good week to turn five years old. But he was quite adamant that he would not throw up on his birthday cake. So that’s good.
If I had to guess I would say allergies. Even the eczema could be allergies. Considering the age of your trailer, there is likely something airborn. Also with his ears troubles, you just never know. Hopefully the Dr. is some help but since you are close to Winnipeg I ber you could find a competent naturalpath
Aww man, sorry to hear that about Luke and I know how tiring it is for Mom so sorry about that for you.
All my kids had eczema really bad..don’t be scared to give them a little Benedryl to help with itching.
Hugs
Might not be a bad idea to buy that house… we were kinda entertaining it, but its too far for us. But seriously, after you consider the rent you’d get from the suite above the garage, and the resale value, I wonder if it would actually be that costly?
