Voley Voley Videos

Getting caught up on the two years of home videos that have been on the video camera… Ran across this gem today:

Almost can’t watch that. We walked in the from Christmas holidays and a seven hour drive, at 10 o’clock at night to that little guy on the kids’ Lego village. The worst was that we couldn’t tell if it was alive or dead. The video after that shows Marc carefully moving a few Lego pieces and dropping an ice cream pail on it. I stopped taping before he turned it over and we saw its  white underbelly.

Still haven’t figured out how it got there. One friend surmised that it swallowed a little Lego piece.

Also, any of our nature friends able to figure out if it’s a mouse or a vole or what?

Anyway, glad that is in my past. But it’s nice that we’ve got video evidence of me reassuring myself and my children that I wasn’t scared of that thing.

    “I’m not scared”.

    Nice. 😉

It *looks* like a mouse, but it’s hard to tell because I can’t see the nose in profile on the video. Voles in this country tend to be smaller than mice too, but they could be larger in Canada.

    I’d say a mouse
